Public bug reported: An update for
* "Get Hot New Stuff" v2 Library for the KDE Platform appeared in my software updater today. I honestly thought it's a stray mall ware package that somehow got onto my laptop. Furthermore I find that description inappropriate and it tells me nothing as to what that library does. What "Hot New Stuff" does it actually get? Googling revealed it would be have been more appropriate to be called "Creative Share Lib". I really hope such a poorly named framework is deprecated and no new software is written against it =) if this is still active, can we rephrase description to be more informative? ** Affects: kde4libs (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: kde4libs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: kde4libs (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1170852 Title: inappropriate package description To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde4libs/+bug/1170852/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
