[Bug 1186573] Re: problem with xorg crashing
Odd that apport didn't grab the symbolic stacktrace - can't do much without that. In the meantime, either grab one manually by attaching gdb, or try installing the latest drivers from ppa:xorg-edgers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1186573 Title: problem with xorg crashing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1186573/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1186573] Re: problem with xorg crashing
Chris not sure how or what to attach gdb to or what package to assign ppa:xorg-edgers updates to. I did try the updates from terminal? You wll have to forgive me I am new to Ubuntu. Thanks for all of your help, also I am not sure how to get you the symbolic stacktrace. If you can send specific instructions I will follow them to the best of my abilty. The easiest way would be if Bryce or Tim could comment on how to get apport to generate the symbolic backtrace... @Bryce, @Tim: ^^^ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1186573 Title: problem with xorg crashing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1186573/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
