Hello,

the title sums it up quite well : I cannot use the SD card slot of my
Dell E6420, nothing happens when a card is inserted.

I tried loading the sdhci kernel module at startup and booting with the
card inserted, to no avail.

I am suprised of this because this hardware is present in the certified
hardware list :
