This bug appears to have been resolved for me at least with kernel v3.8.0-31. Battery is now showing 100% when fully charged. I am confirming this issue on Asus ux32vd with Ubuntu 13.04. Does this issue go away if you boot into a previous kernel? Sigh ... it seems that the issue remains even when booting up using the previous kernel version. Problem is that if I approach Asus about this, then they will simply reply with sorry, we don't support linux, ...Asus recommends Windows 8. :-( Like hell I'll use Windows 8! I updated the BIOS in an effort to resolve a different bug but then landed with this problem. So what to do now?
