[Bug 122844] Re: pptp crashed with SIGSEGV

2009-04-03 Thread Prunus dulcis
I have gotten the crash-notification too. The thing I notice is
constantly loosing wireless connection (varying between every two
seconds to every three minutes (roughly)). But I am not sure, this is
connected to pptp-crash.

@Jamin
Ubuntu 9.04 - Kernel Linux 2.6.28-11-generic (last update in the middle of this
week)
Wireless Driver is ath5k - the open source version.

Anything else, that might help?

[Bug 122844] Re: pptp crashed with SIGSEGV

2009-04-03 Thread Jamin W. Collins
@Prunus,

This will get off topic for the PPTP problem, but her goes...

Figured you were using the open source ath driver. I had the same
network disconnects while I was using it. Also had some seriously poor
overall network throughput. I switched to the ath_pci driver and
connectivity improved dramatically. Though, you'll need to create a
custom file for the suspend process if you suspend your system.
