[Bug 123668] Re: Can't print to the Network Printer.

This printer bug is no longer a problem for me.
I have since successfully upgraded to Ubuntu 7.4, and 
now I am no longer getting this problem with the printer.  
I can now use a network printer.

As to why I was unable to tell what version of Ubuntu I had, I think I know 
that now.
I started to update Ubuntu, using Update Manager, then I left my computer, 
and came back a few hours later.
I saw a message saying my system is up-to-date,
so I thought this meant that my system had just been upgraded.
The message was not actually true.  So thats a bug.
It failed to say that a new version was available.

I have seen it written, elsewhere in this bug system, 
that this failure to update Ubuntu can happen
when the update server is down for scheduled maintenance.
For the server to be unavailable sometimes is ok,
but there needs to be a proper error-message saying
that this is what the situation is.
