[Bug 126250] Re: rhythmbox crashed with signal 5
In Gutsy Beta, daily updated, I can reproduce the crash only when compiz is enabled and gstreamer is configured to use xv output. Without compiz or with compiz / non-xv output, visualization works fine. I also have an Intel x3100 (GM965). As the x3100 has been blacklisted for compiz, this bug should normally not occur anymore and I will close it. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- rhythmbox crashed with signal 5 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Sebastien, are you certain this is an intel driver issue? I don't spot anything in the logs that indicates this. -- rhythmbox crashed with signal 5 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Now using Tribe 4. With desktop effects off, visualizations works fine. After turning Normal effects on, clicking on visualizations makes RhythmBox exit without any notice. -- rhythmbox crashed with signal 5 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The crash occurs every time, using xserver-xorg-video-intel on an Intel x3100 chipset. --Earl On 8/6/07, Sebastien Bacher [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Thank you for your bug.
