I still am not able to solve this problem with my wireless card. Because of this program i switched back to XP where everything works fine. I have had an increase of problems regarding the wireless for the HP dv2000 with the latest BIOS update, including wireless working when 'orange' (off) and then cutting off, both in Vista and Ubuntu. In iwconfig you have: Link Quality:10/100 Signal level:-89 dBm Noise level:-96 dBm I no almost nothing about wireless, but these values looks low to me. It is true that i am far away from the router, but i still have this problem when im close to the router.
