[Bug 1285678] Re: Incorrectly positioned user interface elements with dual-screen setup and different screen resolutions

2015-02-17 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Nightfall, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in
the development release from a Terminal as it will automatically gather
and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect -p xorg 1285678

Please ensure you have xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes
button for attaching additional debugging information.

[Bug 1285678] Re: Incorrectly positioned user interface elements with dual-screen setup and different screen resolutions

2015-02-17 Thread Nightfall
This (misplaced elements on login screen) is still an issue with Kubuntu
14.04.1 (now with a 1366x768 laptop screen).

2015-02-15 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
Nightfall, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Saucy
reached EOL on July 17, 2014.
See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Is this an issue in a supported release?

[Bug 1285678] Re: Incorrectly positioned user interface elements with dual-screen setup and different screen resolutions

2014-02-27 Thread Harald Sitter
That'd be a setup problem I guess. Witht he bigger screen being
duplicated to the smaller screen the sizing is off. If the screens were
not duplicated appropriate layout would happen.

** Package changed: lightdm-kde (Ubuntu) => xorg (Ubuntu)
