You haven't said which version of the server this is for. If it's the ubuntu one, it's 2.1.12. That is YEARS out of date. There is no reason to track down a bug in a version that old. As the FreeRADIUS author, I suggest trying 2.2.4. It's on the description: DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: freeradius 2.1.10+dfsg-3ubuntu0.12.04.2 Yes, we're moving to freeradius 2.2.4. As a rule we prefer to use ubuntu standard packets for LTS releases unless there's some bug or new feature that we require. In this case looks like we will need to move to the latest release, let's see if it's solved.
