[Bug 1307214] Re: [Upstream] Clicking left or right button causes selected cell to shift down one row

2014-04-29 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
No longer reproducible. Recently updated kernel so may have been simply
an issue of needing to update.

** Description changed:

  1) lsb_release -rd
  Description: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
  Release: 14.04

  2) apt-cache policy libreoffice-calc
  libreoffice-calc:
- Installed: 1:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2
- Candidate: 1:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2
- Version table:
- *** 1:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2 0
- 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages
- 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
+   Installed: 1:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2
+   Candidate: 1:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2
+   Version table:
+  *** 1:4.2.3~rc3-0ubuntu2 0
+ 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages
+ 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

- 3) What is expected to happen in a new Calc document is when one has
- selected cell A10, and then clicks the right or left arrow on the
- keyboard a few times in a row, it does not shift down a row of cells to
- 2 but remains in the 1 row.
+ 3) In Xubuntu, what is expected to happen in a new Calc document is when
+ one has selected cell A10, and then clicks the right or left arrow on
+ the keyboard a few times in a row, it does not shift down a row of cells
+ to 2 but remains in the 1 row.

  4) What happens instead is it moves down a row. This is reproducible
across different documents. As well, this did not happen in the release
of Calc from Saucy (4.1.3-0ubuntu1). As well, this is not reproducible
in any other program (ex. Gnumeric, Firefox, Mousepad, etc.).

[Bug 1307214]

2014-04-28 Thread Jay Lozier
I can not confirm the bug on 4.2.3.3/Manjaro Linux. Arrow key movement
is working correctly on my box. Left, right, up, and down arrows move
the active cell in proper directions; one cell per key stroke.
