@jacklu: I have the same problem. I also start x11vnc with a similar script as the threadstarter. When the vnc server machine boots up and shows the login screen, I am able to do the login with a vnc-client. But if the screensaver starts on the server, I am not able to login with vnc. I also encounter the same issue on xubuntu 14.04.
