[Bug 131130] Re: Wireless LED driven by fsam7400 module goes off unexpectedly

2008-03-05 Thread Evgeny Kuznetsov
This is entirely my fault, I have made a huge mistake in description. The
wireless LED on FS Amilo M7400 is not driven by fsam7400. It is driven by
ipw2200 module with option led=1 enabled.
Anyway, the problem with LED as it is described still persists.

2008-02-18 Thread Evgeny nekr0z Kuznetsov
mrickma, can you please confirm that you're not using fsam7400, only
wistron_btns. I have performed a vanilla Ubuntu 7.10 installation on
Amilo M7400 and modprobed wistron_btns — the buttons do work, LED
doesn't work at all.

[Bug 131130] Re: Wireless LED driven by fsam7400 module goes off unexpectedly

2008-02-03 Thread mrickma
I just found this bug report. I upgraded my Amilo M7400 from Feisty to
Gutsy and tried to clear out all quirks which I had used before. I guess
that the fsam7400 and acerhk modules have been superseded by module
wistron_btns. At least on my machine the wireless led and button work
reliably after modprobing wistron_btns.

[Bug 131130] Re: Wireless LED driven by fsam7400 module goes off unexpectedly

2007-12-07 Thread Evgeny nekr0z Kuznetsov
Thank you for paying attention, Brian. To my pity I no longer possess an
Amilo laptop, so I cannot check whether the bug is still there by
myself. But as far as I know some people possessing that model have
experienced this bug on 6.06, 6.10, 7.04 and 7.10. I have already
written to some Amilo owners and I hope someone confirms the behaviour
and provides all the necessary information in less than a week.

2007-12-06 Thread Brian Murray
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue
for you? Thanks in advance.
