Hi Brian, Thanks for the suggestion. 'Remove (rm/var/...) returned command not found But 'sudo apt-get install bogofilter-common' was successful bogofilter was reconfigured).and no further reminders to install received. Thank you. The package seems to have become corrupted on disk try this 'rm /var/cache/apt/archive/bogofilter- common-1.2.2+dfsg1ubuntu0.12.04.1-all.deb'. Then 'sudo apt-get install bogofilter-common'.
