Using Hardy Heron and nautilus version 2.21.90-0ubuntu1 I was unable to recreate this bug report. No, it only happes with Theora (ogg) videos, you can clearly notice the musical note icon appearing on top the of the thumbnail, that also happens only with theora videos.
