Yes, it seems that the click packaging tools are not backward
compatible. Soon the emulator images with the policy will be promoted to
the devel channel and so this bug will go away.

Deploying and running the application on an emulator running the devel-
proposed image (image version: 242) fixes the issue for me.

not sure what happened over night, I didnt even make any changes to my
