This bug was fixed for kernel 2.6.22.
BTW, Feisty Fawn 7.04 has reached it's end of life more than one year ago.
Please don't reopen closed bugs.
If you have a similar issue with newer releases please open a new bug report 
against linux package.

This is a current issue, but it only seems to happen with SDHC cards,
not the older SD cards.

Can confirm the same bug in 9.04 and after upgrade to 9.10 the same bug is 
still around.
As before card mounts but unmounts and remounts as soon anything on card is 
accessed.

Re open? Still affected in 9.04.

Can confirm in 9.04 on i386. Unmounting randomly when trying to copy to
or from, and dd causes kernel panic
