It bugs my PC too (8GiGs of RAM, 5 passes on memtest without an error). Memtest (from Grub) is OK, so I ignored the issue. But since 2 weeks the poweroff hangs every now and then and I am a bit concerned now. Can you run a memtest from the GRUB menu?
