[Bug 1409556] Re: RAID drive not seen by installer

2015-02-01 Thread Romaji Quadhash
What I meant by that is that, when I launched the partition editor, I could see
the partitions of the RAID drive.
I will have to re-open my live thumbdrive again to take a screenshot

[Bug 1409556] Re: RAID drive not seen by installer

2015-01-30 Thread Mathieu Trudel-Lapierre
When you say the live OS can see the RAID drive, could you give us a bit
more details? If you could attach a screenshot, that would be best.

Also, please add the output of 'sudo parted -l', this will help seeing
how the drives are being presented to the system, and thus to the
installer.

Thanks!

[Bug 1409556] Re: RAID drive not seen by installer

2015-01-13 Thread Romaji Quadhash
There is no lsblk output

** Description changed:

- I have two HDD devices on my computer.
- One is a RAID 0 (or, RAID 1, I don't remember which has different data on
both drives), and a single, nonraid drive.
+ I have three HDD devices on my computer.
+ Two are in a RAID 0 (or, RAID 1, I don't remember which has different data on
both drives), and a single, nonraid drive.
Only the non raid drive shows up in the installer, despite the fact that the
live OS can see the RAID drive.

This was found on Kubuntu 14.04

[Bug 1409556] Re: RAID drive not seen by installer

2015-01-12 Thread Phillip Susi
Your description does not make sense. A raid consists of at least two
drives, so if you only have two drives in the system, one can not be
part of a raid and the other not. Please try to provide a better
description, as well as the output of lsblk.
