No. I don't have that laptop any more though, but I do have a similar
network setup (connecting via wired and wireless to the same network).
This can probably be Incomplete -> expired.

[Bug 1422096] Re: Occasionally no network on resume

2015-04-12 Thread Iain Lane
I was in the same state as comment #6, then...

laney@iota> nmcli d status
DEVICE TYPE STATE CONNECTION
lxcbr0 bridgeconnected lxcbr0
virbr0 bridgeconnected virbr0
virbr0-nic tap connected virbr0-nic
50:46:5D:18:E7:06 btdisconnected --
wlan0 wifi disconnected --
eth0 ethernet unavailable --
lo loopback unmanaged --
laney@iota> sudo service network-manager restart
[sudo] password for laney:
laney@iota> nmcli d status
DEVICE TYPE STATE CONNECTION
wlan0 wifi connected bobby
50:46:5D:18:E7:06 btdisconnected --
lxcbr0 bridgeunavailable --
virbr0 bridgeunavailable --
eth0 ethernet unavailable --
lo loopback unmanaged --
virbr0-nic tap unmanaged --

so I guess them not being listed isn't relevant to this bug.

[Bug 1422096] Re: Occasionally no network on resume

2015-03-12 Thread Iain Lane
It's happening very frequently now. I tried to get some state this
morning. The network would intermittently work when it was in the bad
state, and only started working when I disconnected wlan0 *and*
reconnected eth0.

Can someone please tell me what other debugging information will be useful?

Attaching another syslog.

[Bug 1422096] Re: Occasionally no network on resume

2015-03-11 Thread Iain Lane
Ah, I'm on upstart now and it's still happening.

I think for me this started around the time the new NM upstream release
was uploaded, so I'd start investigating what changed there. Even if it
did happen sometimes before (e.g. if bug #1270257 is a dupe), it seems
way more frequent now. I personally never had this issue up until quite
recently.

same syslog structure as in bug 1270257, so most probably a duplicate.

2015-02-15 Thread Iain Lane
In the attached syslog, Feb 15 10:36 is when n-m was in the bad state,
and :37 was when I restarted it.

Also FWIW I'm using systemd.
