[Bug 1422132] Re: Canoscan LIDE 20 (plustek backend) not working anymore
This problems exists since months and is still present in 14.10. For me, it only happens when I use the onboard USB (2.0 or 3.0) of my mainboard. With an older USB 2.0 PCI card the scanner still works with sane. And I can also use the scanner with the onboard USB controller, when I start Windows XP in VirtualBox , which uses an older USB 2.0 protocol. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1422132 Title: Canoscan LIDE 20 (plustek backend) not working anymore To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends/+bug/1422132/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1422132] Re: Canoscan LIDE 20 (plustek backend) not working anymore
Hallo David, I think that this bug comes from sane-backends. I switch it to this package. Please can you run SANE_DEBUG_DLL=3 scanimage -L on a terminal, attach the output here and set the status back to confirmed Thanks Jörg ** Package changed: sane-frontends (Ubuntu) = sane-backends (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: sane-backends (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1422132 Title: Canoscan LIDE 20 (plustek backend) not working anymore To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends/+bug/1422132/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
