[Bug 1440731] Re: package beanstalkd 1.4.6-3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Hello and thank you for filing this bug report. 12.04 is now EOL, are you able to reproduce this on 14.04? It appears that the issue is actually a configuration one, in that you edited /etc/default/beanstalkd and are unable to start beanstalk as a result. Given: BEANSTALKD_LISTEN_ADDR=0.0.0.0 BEANSTALKD_LISTEN_PORT=11300 BEANSTALKD_FILESIZE=10 DAEMON_OPTS="-l $BEANSTALKD_LISTEN_ADDR -p $BEANSTALKD_LISTEN_PORT -z $BEANSTALKD_FILESIZE" It makes sense to try and run beanstalkd with those options and see why/if it fails. ** Changed in: beanstalkd (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1440731 Title: package beanstalkd 1.4.6-3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beanstalkd/+bug/1440731/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
