If storage warnings are currently implemented as notifications, the
notification equivalent of “should close by itself” is “should be
deleted”. So if “the consumption goes back under 95% and then back
over”, then the notification should be deleted at the point that
consumption goes under 95%.

I consumed 96% of the disk, got the warning message once. I left the
phone for days and never saw any additional reports.

>From examining the code it has a check to see if the warning has been
issued for that disk and will not repeat it. The only path I see is if
the consumption goes back under 95% and then back over.

Any ideas on how you triggered it?  Do you have anything cleaning files
on the device?

hmm... good question. By now I use a bigger SD card and so I haven't
seen this in a long time. But back then I surely did not have any
special tasks set up to clean files.
