Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gutsy-wallpapers
We cannot use elephant skin as a background. There will inevitably be people who will be grossed out by the textures/colors and find it uncomfortable. This may cause them to stray away from Ubuntu completely. The lion mane is a much better choice as it just fur and doesn't have odd skin folds or coloration as the elephant skin does. Here are two good candidates for secondary wallpapers: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/GutsyIdeas?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=ubuntu-lion-nologo.jpg (found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/GutsyIdeas ) https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/Animals?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=lion-2048x1536.jpg (found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/Animals ) ** Affects: gutsy-wallpapers (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- elephant extra should be replaced with lion https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145481 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
