Sane has not been working at all.
Simple Scan, XSane, and other associated programs detect and offer installed
scanners, choose one then screen greys out after a long wait.
Using Ubuntu 15.04
check and update every day
This scanner has been functioning commanded by PC and by scanner panel buttons
for many months but now hangs with a grey screen and red note "failed to scan
Unable to connect to scanner"
I have tried al sorts but mostly up against a brick wall for the last few
weeks.
Printer operates properly.
