Public bug reported: Hi Team I upgraded my Ubuntu Desktop from 12.04 to 14.04 but I always block in login session via GUI. I can log in terminal. I checked the auth.log and found gnome-keyring-daemon shows "failed to unlock login keyring on startup". I did follow approach but still can't log in via GUI. Would you give me some advice.
[Tried Approach] 1. Reinstall gnome-keyring. - Result : Still can't log in 2. sudo chown -R $USER:$USER $HOME - Result : Still can't log in 3. sudo update-manager -d -Result : error: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment.
