Public bug reported:

A vasco 870 reader is not recognised.  It is supposed to work: 
http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid/shouldwork.html#0x1A440x0870
It is recognised on the USB-bus.

I purged and  reïnstalled pcsc-tools. I got another reader working
