2016-01-15 Thread Colin Watson
That would depend rather a lot on what your goal is. For the purposes
of this bug report, though, the answer is probably that the next step on
it is for a developer to prepare a fix, and if you aren't a developer
then you should do nothing.

2016-01-15 Thread Colin Watson
Tony, please leave this bug alone and stop closing it. At the moment
you're doing the equivalent of walking into somebody else's office and
erasing to-do list items from their whiteboard without explaining why.

[Bug 1469495] Re: make man respond to bzr subcommands

2015-11-22 Thread Jelmer Vernooij
Sorry, my bad. The default error message when such a file is not present
is misleading. It tries to open the 'bzr' and 'branch' man pages
sequentially AFAICT.

[Bug 1469495] Re: make man respond to bzr subcommands

2015-11-15 Thread Colin Watson
No, it wouldn't; man long ago gained general support for subcommands.
All you need to do is arrange for there to be suitable text in e.g.
/usr/share/man/man1/bzr-branch.1.gz and "man bzr branch" will display
it.

This would require changes in man first.
