I suspect that this might be the same as bug #154343.

[Bug 149273] Re: Blender causes Xorg crash loop

2007-11-04 Thread Ryan Cresawn
After performing my same test again I concur that this bug is currently
present with my installation of Ubuntu 7.10. I'm not sure if the
problem lies with blender or xserver-xorg-video-intel.

[Bug 149273] Re: Blender causes Xorg crash loop

2007-11-02 Thread David Roberts
I'm still having the same issue, even with xserver-xorg-video-intel
2:2.1.1-0ubuntu9 on gutsy. The only line of debugging output I get from
blender is intelWaitIrq: drmI830IrqWait: -16 - I'm not sure if this is
relevant. I have an Intel GMA X3100.

[Bug 149273] Re: Blender causes Xorg crash loop

2007-10-08 Thread Ryan Cresawn
This problem was fixed with xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.1.1-0u ;
therefore, it really never was a blender bug.

[Bug 149273] Re: Blender causes Xorg crash loop

2007-10-05 Thread Ryan Cresawn
I've since discovered that any render attempt, even of the default
scene, causes this Xorg crash loop. To test: start Blender and Render
- Render Current Frame. The rendered scene will show in a new window
and then any attempt to move the mouse cursor will cause the Xorg crash
loop to begin.
