This happens when you're trying to install nspluginwrapper -i from a symlink. I think. I had the same problem on AMD64. I posted this fix that worked for me over here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nspluginwrapper/+bug/152583 1) Uninstall flashplugin-nonfree if installed through synaptic. 2) Get a list of any Flash remains with nspluginwrapper -l 3) For me this showed a combination of 0.91.94 and 0.91.95 versions. I have this exact same problem. I'm running gutsy on 64-bit as well. It happened after the recent update as the original poster stated. When this happens (any time a page has flash embeded in it) Firefox
