Public bug reported: I had a mic issue in Ubuntu 15.10 and i issued few commands to remove and reinstall pulse audio, that cause few packages to be removed and in its place gnome-center control panel got installed.
so i searched ask ubuntu and found the solution by reinstalling unity control centre, which restored the control panel of ubuntu. What my take is that such things should not happen, that all operating system packages should be isolated from other system, so that any removing and installing of packages should affect this issue.
