I can confirm this bug & more interestingly, I have exactly the same sound device: Audio device: Intel Corporation 7 Series/C210 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04) I can see no issues with it working, things *feel* like they are working. When I plug in a headphone jack, the device is switched. Pauvcontrol even shows audio coming through it in levels.
