Actual Result: The music and other audio plays on the bluetooth headset however the SMS/Call alerts are not. They are still played in the phone's speaker. This causes the user to miss the notification because you can't hear it especially when listening to music/podcast. This isn't a bluez thing. The headset does not have a microphone so it could be the behavior is as expected ? In the attachment, the SMS alerts did play in the headset whereas the call ringtone and the call audio did not. The last time I reproduced it neither played on the headset. I just have done a quick assessment and I see here two issues actually. First is related to the Call functionality and could be summarized as: not possible to get the call audio through the BT speaker/headset. I was thinking that this is because the Audio Connection setup somehow fails however Thomas mentioning about the HF icon just flashing got me worried that it might actually be the whole Service Connection instead. I have the same problem. Device: Aquaris E5 Ubuntu Edition Version: OTA-9 When i connect the phone to my bluetooth speaker or my car radio, i can play music via bluetooth. But the handsfree function does not work. My car radio is a Sony MEX-BT2500, when i connect the phone i can see the hansfree icon on the radio flashing for a second. The music icon stays on. And i can not use the buttons or the remote on the radio to switch songs. These functions work on my old Nokia with Symbian. The same happens with my bluetooth speaker, it is a Logitech UE Mini. Music play fine but the calls are not going via the bluetooth speaker.
