mcshel / Rolf Leggewie, unfortunately, I wasn't aware that apport
doesn't presently work for sane-backends, and I've filed
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apport/+bug/1656599 about it.

Nevermind Christopher, he's being silly again as usual. I certainly
feel the problem has enough information to chew on and IIRC I read a
similar report about having to reconnect the USB cable for each scan
somewhere. No use to expire valid reports just because that's what
Christopher likes to do.

bug 1184699 with over a dozen confirmations, marking as duplicate

Of course, Christopher is busy expiring that as well for the benefit of
noone. Cause, well, that's the only thing he knows how to do, it seems.

2017-01-11 Thread Christopher M. Penalver
mcshel, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command only once, as it will
automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 1536504

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-
bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this
functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.
