Public bug reported: I'm running Ubuntu 14.04.4 on a Lenovo G50-70 with an Elantech Touchpad. The touchpad worked till the latest kernel update. Now it shows only as a PS/2 generic mouse. Going back to the previous kernel 4.2.30 results in the touchpad being recognized and working again.
