If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything? Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. Also, you don't have to create a new bug report. Hello Joseph, I received my XPS 2 days ago, there was already Windows 10 installed. I downloaded Ubuntu 16.04, created an ubuntu usb key (with unetbootin) and installed the system as is. I have not made any kernel upgrade. How to test the latest upstream kernel? Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem? Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.6 kernel[0].
