BIOS Settings Secure Boot off Fast boot off CSM - Keep UEFI Have been unable to install Grub with Ubuntu Studio on this machine. Able to install with EFI boot directly to Ubuntu, or select alternate boot device in BIOS to boot to Windows. But when Ubuntu installed - typically "sudo update-grub" One time and then I have a boot menu that lets me select Ubuntu or Windows without having to go into BIOS settings to select my OS. Have been able to do this with 14.04.4 Unity and some other Ubuntu based distros but not Studio. Will likely be able to resolve this issue on my own. I believe creating the BIOS partition and selecting it for bootloader install caused the error.
