I think a few things would need to happen on the content-hub and calendar side first 1) content-hub would need to add a new type ContentHub.Calendar (until proper mime-type support lands in content-hub). See https://developer.ubuntu.com/api/apps/qml/sdk-15.04.4/Ubuntu.Content.ContentType/ 2) Calendar app would register as content-hub destination for this content-type 3) Calendar app needs implement a content-hub importer for text/calendar files that would be invoked by content-hub operation.
