[Bug 158301] Re: Firefox CPU over use freeze

2007-11-03 Thread aselvan
I have a similar issue where firefox hangs using up max CPU, mostly it
happens when you right click to open a link on a new window at random
time. Has anyone experienced this on fresh install of gusty with latest
firefox?.

freezing usually happens just before a crash. did you ever get a crash
when waiting for a long time?

2007-10-31 Thread Murtadh
Will it didn't crash but it freeze for a long time for me I waited for more
than 15 min in the first times when this happened but nothing changed ! so
after that when it ever freeze I kill it right away :)

Ummm but after Arnaud Blouin replay I tried the site with the safe mode
(firefox -safe-mode) and everything works great, yes nothing happen !

So what is the problem? The Second thought is the Add-ons, I start to
disable and enable it to see the effect that make in the site, getdeb.net.
And I was right the problm is with the Add-ons Google Toolbar for Firefox
3.0.20070525L if you enable it you will have the problem, at least thats
what happened with me, now I'm disabling it and the site work perfectly. So
what is next ?

My list of Add-ons:
Adbock Plus 0.7.5.3
ChatZilla 0.9.78.1
Downthemall 0.9.9.10
Dr.Web Anti virus link checker 1.0.15
FireFTP 0.97.1
Google Desktop for Firefox 1.1.0

I can't reproduce the bug.
Try to reproduce the bug with a new empty profile (firefox -profilemanager).
