Hello, it isn't a problem anymore. I don't recall this bug...but then again it appears that it maybe back in 2007 when I first tried to upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy. My system eventually crashed on the Linux side and I continued then to use the dual boot Grub to load XP instead, until recently when I did a fresh install of Heron and have now upgraded to Ibex.
