[Bug 1586401] Re: Errors were encountered while processing: libapache2-mod-php7.0

2016-06-22 Thread gcclinux
problem fixed, I removed the symbolic link between two packages and
copied the file over

/etc/php/7.0/apache2/php.ini -> /etc/php/7.0/cli/php.ini

Regards,

[Bug 1586401] Re: Errors were encountered while processing: libapache2-mod-php7.0

2016-05-28 Thread gcclinux
Hi,

That is correct I have updated the /etc/php/7.0/cli/php.ini with my own
required settings, but this should not make any difference as the
package should simply ignore this file as it is can can be customized by
users.

Many Thanks

[Bug 1586401] Re: Errors were encountered while processing: libapache2-mod-php7.0

2016-05-27 Thread Nish Aravamudan
Thank you for filing this bug report!

I'm not sure how this came about. I just did a quick apt-file check on
the package versions in question (7.0.4-7ubuntu2 and 7.0.4-7ubuntu2.1)
and don't see any reason for the security update to think it owns
/etc/php/7.0/cli/php.ini.

Also, I spun up a lxc container of 16.04 and forcibly installed
7.0.4-7ubuntu2. Then I upgraded off security to the latest and had no
errors.

Did you happen to change the default configuration in some way?

Hello,
I though I opened a new bug for a different problem rather than overlapping the
cacti issue.
I am sorry for the confusion.

I don't see anything related to cacti in the bug report. Reassigning to
the only package I see.
