Umm this is an ancient report, snapd has come a long way, these are long
gone and I cannot therefore provide anything more. I think you can
safely close this.

[Bug 1590842] Re: snap revisions eating up disk space /dev/loop

2016-12-05 Thread Michael Vogt
Thanks for your bugreport Scarlett,

we have a "garbage-collection" since snapd 2.11. So I'm curious why so many
e.g. kdevelop loops are there. Could you please add the output of:
$ ls /snap/kdeveloper
and
$ apt list snapd
to this bugreport?

Looking at the rev numbers of the snaps (1X) it appears that this
was done using a slightly older version of snapd that did not had the
garbage collect feature. I suspect this is fixed with the current snapd
in xenial-updates.

Thanks,
 Michael

[Bug 1590842] Re: snap revisions eating up disk space /dev/loop

2016-10-27 Thread Yuan-Chen Cheng
per #2, now we can do

# snap remove hello --revision 20

or something like that. even though, we still need a guide/policy/config
for that.

maybe a front end to command 'snap' like apt/dpkg ?
