Really, some applications waste a lot of space in toolbars, menubars, etc. Being really uncomfortable for small laptops. This is specially relevant in multimedia applications, like Totem. Well, I think you could definitely call this waste of space a bug. Never liked it. It would be very helpful to have a compact theme available that uses small spacings.
