oslo.message@trusty does declare an entry point for 'rabbit' as a driver key: oslo.messaging.drivers = rabbit = oslo.messaging._drivers.impl_rabbit:RabbitDriver qpid = oslo.messaging._drivers.impl_qpid:QpidDriver zmq = oslo.messaging._drivers.impl_zmq:ZmqDriver # To avoid confusion kombu = oslo.messaging._drivers.impl_rabbit:RabbitDriver # This is just for internal testing fake = oslo.messaging._drivers.impl_fake:FakeDriver So I'm a bit puzzled as to why this is happening. Any chance you have a pip installed version of oslo.messaging installed? that might cause this type of error.
