You can install intone and run it, but it does nothing, saying on the
console output:

CRI<25359>:elementary elm_win.c:2858 _win_constructor() Software X11 engine 
creation failed. Trying default.
ERR<25359>:elementary elm_win.c:2994 _win_constructor() Cannot create window.
...

This is solved by installing package libevas1-engines-x after which it
works fine.
