Public bug reported: From: Dann Frazier (dannf) :
I have an OpenStack setup built on an arm64-only MAAS using the openstack-base w/ default settings. From the cli, I am able to create and attach a volume to a running guest. However, that volume never appears in the guest - nothing new in dmesg, nothing new in /proc/partitions. There's no obvious errors, or even informational messages, in the nova, libvirt or cinder logs (included in attached juju crashdump). ** Affects: qemu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "juju-crashdump-a3000f7f-fb1f-4945-8910-0f38447c8e26.tar.xz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1664737/+attachment/4819040/+files/juju-crashdump-a3000f7f-fb1f-4945-8910-0f38447c8e26.tar.xz ** Bug watch added: Linaro Bug Tracking System #2462 https://bugs.linaro.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2462 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1664737 Title: [ARM] : Unable to use Cinder volumes on ARM To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1664737/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
