[Bug 1670290] Re: Ubuntu can't suspend anymore after very recent update
apport-collect kept throwing exceptions and errors, took me about 5 times to get it right. anyways it showed me a message that "I've modified systemd" & it said it would include it in the report. But note that I didn't do anything to systemd. Not "me", maybe something I installed. Is the information sufficient? Anything else I need to provide? thx Brian how do we mention people here? [Bug 1670290] Re: Ubuntu can't suspend anymore after very recent update
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected xenial ** Description changed: Earlier today after update Ubuntu can't suspend. When I suspend the power button blink like it's suspended, but when I try waking it up it boots from start. (It shows me bios password, then grub...). It used to work fine. It used to happen randomly but now it doesn't suspend at all. I always know if it shows me the bios password it will boot from scratch. [Bug 1670290] Re: Ubuntu can't suspend anymore after very recent update
It'd be helpful to know what release of Ubuntu you are running along with things like the version of systemd. Please run apport-collect 1670290 in a terminal so that information can be added automatically. ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1670290 Title: Ubuntu can't suspend anymore after very recent update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1670290/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1670290] Re: Ubuntu can't suspend anymore after very recent update
note that hibernation works flawlessly. Very strange that it doesn't suspend but it can hibernate I think the real but is the bios thing.
