I think this is too difficult for me. I try to live without the terminal. Since 2014 I work with Linux (Mint or Ubuntu/Mate). Linux is great. I work as a pastor in a Baptist Church. There is enough software on linux to do my job. I will wait until it is upgraded to 16.04.3. I hope it will support all FN-buttons. Maybe in 2018 I will install the new Ubuntu Gnome 18.04. Can you boot with earlier version linux kernel? I don't know whether linux-image-extras are installed. It's not a big problem for me, that the fn-buttons for WLAN and second monitor do not work. But it is interesting, that in ubuntu 16.04. it was ok. Thank You for Your support.
