% uname -a Linux subdivisions 4.10.0-21-generic #23-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 28 16:14:22 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux FWIW, booting 4.10.0-20 hangs on boot so that's not a viable option.
