I AM USING AN OLDER INSTALLER BECAUSE WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO CREATE A NEW BOOTABLE FLASH STICK INSTALLER WITH ANY MORE RECENT VERSION CANONICAL/UBUNTU HAD PASSWORD DISABLED THEM!! THAT, AND I NEED THE LEGACY WACOM GRAPHICS PAD AND MOUSE ACCELERATION FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE OMITTED IN NEWER INSTALL VERSIONS. THE INSTALLER CRASH HAD BEEN CAUSED BY AN IMPROPERLY CONNECTED HD CABLE. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We noticed that you were installing the LTS version of Ubuntu using an older version of the installation media.
